This has triggered some serious differences within the Pakistani establishment. One example is the strange phenomenon of an increasing number of pop songs about US soldiers fighting in Afghanistan.

This kind of behavior is not confined to online music sites and TV channels. It is actually being promoted by the Pakistani intelligence services. According to reports, the ISI and other PTAB departments are publishing propaganda magazines and newspapers targeting Pakistanis to serve as a reminder to them to support US war efforts.

Interestingly, there is a higher tendency of the younger generation to believe in the narratives of US troops being involved in some of the more aggressive acts against Afghanistan, and there is a high demand for songs praising the troops. This has led to a notable and disturbing change in Pakistani's public perception towards the US, which has unfortunately changed the entire attitude of the population towards the US and the soldiers serving in Afghanistan.

Many of the more moderate political leaders in Pakistan (PML-N) had sought to make peace and unity between the two countries a major issue in the upcoming election. However, their political allies in the military and the PTAB police came up with a counter-proposal: since their governments are not in power, they could not interfere with the elections, and their influence is limited. So, if any such leaders who have support from the top ranks of the military, the ISI and PTAB police would not be allowed to run.

Pakistan, a key ally of the United States, has recently become a fertile ground for extremist groups, and others who wish to destabilize the country. If this trend continues, we will lose Pakistan as a valuable ally, and as a major player in the global marketplace.

However, like it or not, for the United States to have to create an internal political crisis in Pakistan over something that they don't even know about is truly absurd, and definitely unfortunate. Now, we can ask ourselves this: if we lose the relationship with this emerging economic and political powerhouse, then what is the real value of the continued partnership between us and Pakistan?
